Over the last few days the mighty Mississippi River is doing what we all see her do just about every year and that is she's coming up very quickly. Although the clarity is still very good right now the biggest obstacle is dodging the floating debri floating down river. Be extremely care out there folks
With that being said it had been nice to adjust to the conditions and put fish into the boat each day we have gotten out this week. We have been putting most of the walleyes and saugers in the boat with plastics ranging from paddle tails, flukes, and ringies. Everyone can be purchased right at the bait shop at Everets resort in hager city Wisconsin and four seasons sports in redwing Minnesota. Color really did not matter this week we used several and they all produced walleyes and saugers at some time of the day.
Great times ahead folks be patient the walleyes and saugers are on the move, each day can give you a real surprise at the end of your line. It's always great to see people's faces when they hook into that real nice walleye and watch them reeling it in that's why I love to guide.
Water temperature has been bouncing around a bit ranging from as high as 44 to dropping down to 41. Clarity is great right now and the rollers are wide open. Be careful I can't say this enough. Good luck out there guys and gals !!!!
the picture with the bass eating the crappie was posted on FB I thought that was interesting.
